Job summary

Plan International Indonesia seeks a Program Manager for Humanitarian and Resilience to lead emergency response efforts, oversee resilience programming, and coordinate with government, NGOs, and donors. You will drive project design, implementation, and reporting in a high-need environment, reporting to the Programme Director.

The role requires an undergraduate degree in a relevant field, 7+ years in humanitarian project management, and strong English and Bahasa Indonesia communication skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in social sciences, public policy, international relations, and relevant field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience managing projects in humanitarian and emergency response.
• Minimum of 3 years experience coordinating with government agencies/offices, NGOs, and INGOs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Plan Indonesia’s emergency response plan, ensuring quality response per standards and timely deployments.
• Oversee resilience programming aligned with impact frameworks and youth-centered focus.
• Participate in cluster coordination meetings for humanitarian and resilience work.
• Develop projects under the Humanitarian and Resilience area and liaise with development and fundraising units for resource mobilization.
• Provide supervision and technical advisory during project development and acquisition processes.
• Align project design and implementation with gender-transformative approaches and PIQP principles.
• Provide oversight and technical inputs to project implementation with Area Implementation Managers.
• Monitor budget planning and expenditures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee monitoring of technical outputs and asset mobilization to support activities.
• Lead project risk registries, mitigation, and closure processes with donor compliance.
• Ensure adherence to Plan Indonesia’s financial, procurement, and administrative processes.
