Job summary

Sinar Mas Agribusiness And Food is seeking a Lead Geophysicist to direct seismic data analysis and interpretation in Tangerang. The role involves leading a team of geophysicists, integrating seismic data with well and core information, and shaping exploration strategy for hydrocarbon prospects.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record in seismic interpretation, AVO/inversion techniques, and leadership, with experience presenting to management and JV partners.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Geophysics or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in exploration geophysics within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven expertise in seismic interpretation, attribute analysis, and AVO/Inversion techniques.

Responsibilities

• Oversee processing and interpretation of 2D and 3D seismic data to delineate structures and features.
• Integrate seismic data with well logs, core data, and other geological information to build subsurface models.
• Lead generation and evaluation of exploration leads and prospects, assessing geological risk and uncertainty.
• Mentor and manage a team of geophysicists and promote best practices.
• Collaborate with geological and reservoir teams for integrated subsurface solutions.
• Stay current with advancements in seismic acquisition, processing, and interpretation technologies.
