Job summary

MatchaTalent in Indonesia is looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to design, calculate, and certify electrical power distribution, lighting, and ELV systems, serving as Engineer-in-Charge to ensure safety and regulatory compliance for industrial and development projects.

You will lead load calculations, prepare single-line diagrams, coordinate with clients and authorities, review drawings, and supervise junior engineers to ensure high-quality outcomes in line with Indonesian standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with STRI and SKA/SKK Level 8 (Ahli Madya)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design on industrial or regulated development projects
• Expertise in power distribution (LV/MV), lighting, earthing, lightning protection and ELV/security systems, with Indonesian standards (PUIL) for compliance
• Proficient in ETAP or DIALux for analysis and lighting simulation, AutoCAD for 2D layouts and single-line diagrams, basic ETABS/SAP2000 for coordination
• Professional English for technical communication; detail-oriented and collaborative

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and calculations for LV/MV power distribution
• Ensure regulatory certification and PUIL compliance for projects
• Prepare load calculations, single-line diagrams, and specs for PBG/SLF submissions
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and authorities
• Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs during construction
• Supervise junior staff for design consistency
