Job summary

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) seeks a policy analyst to monitor and analyse regional and international monetary and financial developments for strategic guidance. You will contribute MAS positions at multilateral fora and help shape regulatory perspectives.

You will work with a dynamic team to advance bilateral cooperation and may be involved in FTA negotiations with financial services partners.

Qualifications

International relations, regulatory policy or supervisory experience would be an advantage.
Background in Economics, Political Science and International Relations would also be an advantage.
Strong analytical skills and able to think strategically.
Resilient, proactive, able to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Team player with good networking and organisational skills.
Applicants must be Singapore citizens.

Responsibilities

Monitor and analyse regional and international monetary and financial developments.
Develop and advocate MAS' positions at multilateral fora such as ASEAN, EMEAP, G20, IMF, FSB, BIS and other platforms.
Contribute to advancing bilateral cooperation and relations with MAS' foreign counterparts.
Possible involvement in financial services free trade agreement negotiations.
