Job summary

Turner is seeking a Construction Director (PMC) in Jakarta, Indonesia to lead site execution for a nickel smelter expansion. The role involves independent oversight of engineering, procurement, construction, pre‑commissioning and handover activities, ensuring safety and operational readiness while maintaining strong owner and contractor interfaces.

The successful candidate will drive zero-harm execution, manage complex brownfield work, and coordinate across EPC, operations and commissioning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 20+ years of industrial construction experience.
• 10+ years in senior site-based leadership roles.
• Experience on metallurgical/mining or nickel smelter projects and brownfield expansions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PMC site leadership and oversee construction management.
• Oversight of EPC contractor performance and interface management.
• Manage SIMOPS and brownfield integration with live plant operations.
• Ensure safety, quality, schedule adherence and operational readiness.
• Coordinate with owner representatives, operations, engineering and commissioning teams.
