Job summary

Japfa in Indonesia is seeking a Hatchery Supervisor to oversee daily hatchery activities in the Sumbawa area, ensuring operations align with work plans and SOPs. You will monitor breeding, larval rearing, nursery, and water quality, guiding operators and hatchery workers to maintain high biosecurity and hygiene standards.

You will report abnormalities, mortality spikes, or operational issues, and maintain daily records.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree in Fisheries, Aquaculture, or related field.
• Experience in hatcheries, fry production, or fish/shrimp larval production is an advantage.
• Understanding of larval rearing techniques, live feed culture, and water quality management.
• Ability to monitor larval health, record production data, and implement biosecurity measures.
• Willingness to work shifts; high attention to detail; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to be stationed in the Sumbawa area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily hatchery activities according to work plans and SOPs.
