Job summary

PT Dewata Harmoni Sejahtera in Bali is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the Cook in food preparation and maintain kitchen standards. You will wash, cut, weigh, and prepare ingredients, assist with cooking, and ensure ingredients and equipment are ready for operations.

You'll maintain cleanliness, follow FIFO and food safety standards, assist with stock checks, and collaborate with the kitchen team to keep everything organized and running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Basic kitchen experience preferred, ability to follow recipes and SOPs.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cook in food preparation, including washing, cutting, weighing, and preparing food ingredients.
• Assist with cooking processes according to Cook's instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Prepare and ensure availability of ingredients and kitchen equipment before operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and kitchen during and after operations.
• Store food ingredients according to food safety standards and FIFO method.
• Assist with stock inventory checks and food ingredient stock verification.
• Maintain quality, cleanliness, and organisation of all kitchen areas.
• Follow instructions from Cook/Sous Chef and collaborate with the kitchen team.
• Perform other kitchen-related operational tasks as needed.
