Job summary

PISON Group is seeking a hardworking Daily Worker Cook to join our Culinary team in Bali. You will support daily kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food is prepared according to company standards.

In this role, you will prepare and cook basic menu items, keep workstations organized, follow FIFO, and uphold food safety and hygiene at all times while communicating effectively with the kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cook or kitchen helper is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Solid understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Hardworking, disciplined, and responsible.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Good time management and ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn and develop cooking skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good personal hygiene and well-groomed appearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, wash, peel, cut, portion, and organize ingredients.
• Assist with daily kitchen preparation and keep workstations ready.
• Support cooking process under guidance of senior staff.
• Prepare and cook basic menu items per recipes and standards.
• Ensure food is prepared consistently and on time.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas and equipment.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing ingredients and supplies.
• Follow FIFO and monitor ingredient freshness.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team.
• Assist with dishwashing and other kitchen duties.
• Support the Culinary team with other tasks as needed.
