Role Description

The Kindergarten Teacher role at MHIS is a full-time, on-site position based in Pangkalpinang. This role involves planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons that integrate academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development. The teacher will facilitate classroom activities, guide learners through structured play and exploration, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to families and the school. Responsibilities include preparing teaching materials, maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment, collaborating with colleagues, and participating in school events, trainings, and curriculum development. The teacher is expected to model school values and contribute to a positive school culture that supports all learners.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience in early childhood or kindergarten settings.
• Ability to design effective Lesson Planning that supports holistic, age-appropriate learning.
• Excellent Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues in a respectful, collaborative manner.
• Experience in learner Training and development, including guiding behavior, social skills, and basic academic competencies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or a related field (or equivalent teaching qualification).
• Understanding of or willingness to learn Islamic values and integrate them appropriately into classroom practice.
• Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive, safe, and encouraging learning environment for learners with diverse needs.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and readiness to participate in school-wide activities and professional development.
