Job summary

Job description

Serve as the designated technical liaison with relevant government authorities, ensuring timely regulatory reporting, permit compliance, and successful completion of inspections and audits.

Direct and manage all technical aspects of mining operations, including mine planning, production optimization, and resource utilization.

Ensure mining activities are conducted in accordance with applicable mining laws, occupational health and safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.

Serve as the designated technical liaison with relevant government authorities, ensuring timely regulatory reporting, permit compliance, and successful completion of inspections and audits.

Monitor operational performance and provide periodic technical, operational, and compliance reports to senior management, together with recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

1. Professional Qualification

Must hold a valid POU (Senior Mine Supervisor) certificate that is verifiable with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) and is neither expired nor suspended.

Prior experience in open-pit nickel mining is preferred.

2. Education & Experience

Associate degree or higher in Mining, Geology, or a related field.

At least 5 years of on-site technical management experience in open-pit mines.

Familiarity with Indonesian mine management systems.

Prior experience serving as a KTT for nickel mining projects is preferred.

3. Duty Obligations

Ability to work full-time onsite.

Must provide a written commitment not to hold a KTT position at any other mine simultaneously.

Willing to commit to a minimum service term of 2 years.

Must cooperate with the filing of administrative changes if resigning before the agreed service term ends.

4. Compliance & Operational Competence

Ability to independently prepare and submit the RKAB (Annual Work Plan and Budget) for mining operations.

Ability to lead the implementation of SMKP (Mine Safety Management System).

Familiarity with processes related to environmental impact assessments (AMDAL), land reclamation, and mine closure.

Ability to liaise with provincial and local energy and mining authorities.

Ability to coordinate government inspections and follow up on corrective actions.

5. Professional Ethics

No record of being blacklisted for mining accidents or criminal penalties in the mining sector.

Willingness to refuse non-compliant mining instructions.

Ability to provide objective assessments of mining-related risks to company management.
