Job summary

Daikin Industries Indonesia is seeking a capable Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead Kaizen activities on the production line. The role focuses on data collection, analysis, and applying practical improvements to boost efficiency.

You will conduct root cause analysis, develop and maintain SOPs, and provide ongoing support to identify further optimization opportunities. Strong CAD skills and experience in automotive/electronics sectors are a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 2D & 3D drafting experience with SolidWorks or CAD software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with multi-purpose tools.
• 1–2 years in Continuous Improvement is required.
• Automotive or Electronics industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Toyota Production System & Karakuri Kaizen.
• Knowledge of Karakuri or Low-Cost Automation is a plus.
• Excellent technical and communication skills; strong presentation ability.
• Strong interpersonal and multitasking capabilities; team and independent work.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in 2D & 3D drafting (experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software is highly preferred).
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Skilled in using various multi-purpose tools.
• 1-2 years of experience in Continuous Improvement is required.
• Previous experience in Automotive or Electronics industries is preferred.
• Solid understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies (Toyota Production System & Karakuri Kaizen).
• Knowledge of Karakuri or Low-Cost Automation (LCA) is a significant plus.
• Excellent technical, communication (verbal/written), and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask.
• Proactive and able to work effectively both in a team and independently.

Scope of Responsibilities
