Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Engineer for Hull & Outfitting to prepare and review hull and outfitting drawings, 3D models, and production documents for shipbuilding, repair, and conversion projects.

You will coordinate with production teams, clients, and classification societies to ensure designs meet project requirements and class regulations, while supporting issue resolution on projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma (D3/D4) in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, offshore, or marine engineering projects.
• Proficient in AVEVA Marine, AutoCAD, and other relevant engineering software.
• Ability to review engineering drawings and technical documents independently.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• To follow the Safety Rules and Regulation set refers to Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy by the yard.
• Comply with manager, supervisors, Designer and Owner instructions and perform to achieve quality work.
• Perform modeling, assembly, nesting drawing for new building, repair/upgrade & conversion.
• To check & troubleshoot in case have issue on site during progress of the project
• Review and checking design drawing to suit customer satisfaction and classification society.
• To achieve KPI engineering department
