Job description

MHIS Bangka is looking for a creative, caring, and committed Mathematics Teacher to join our team for the New Academic Year. You will plan, deliver, and assess lessons in accordance with the Pearson Curriculum, creating engaging learning experiences for students.

Key responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in accordance with the Pearson Curriculum

Deliver clear and engaging lessons using various teaching methods and technologies to help students understand complex mathematical concepts

Create and maintain a positive learning environment by managing classroom behavior, encouraging student participation, and fostering a respectful and collaborative atmosphere

Work together with other teachers, staff, and school leaders to enhance the overall learning experience and integrate interdisciplinary approaches to education

Communicate with parents and guardians about their student's progress, areas of strength, and areas that need improvement in math

Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development programs

About you

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education

Teaching experience of at least 1 year in an international or national plus school

Mastering international curriculum at least IGCSE standard/As Level (Cambridge or Pearson Edexcel)

Proficiency in English at academic purpose level

Understand the use of digital technology related to the field

Understand simple algorithms or coding
