Job summary

Pulau Projects is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer (Production Assistant) to design branded visuals for social media, campaigns, menus, and promotional materials according to briefs, ensuring consistency with brand identity.

You will work with the Art Director to evolve visual guidelines across channels, support video and motion tasks, prepare print-ready files, assist packaging art, and help manage footage and project files on tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in graphic design or related field.
• Experience in hospitality, F&B, lifestyle, events or creative agencies is a plus.
• Strong portfolio showing both static and motion work.

Responsibilities

• Design branded visuals for social media, campaigns, menus, and promotional materials according to brief.
• Work alongside our Art Director to maintain and evolve brand visual identity and design guidelines across all channels.
• Assist in editing short-form video content for social media (trimming, basic colour correction, sound sync).
• Create simple motion graphics and logo animations for reels, stories, and promos using templates or references.
• Help organise and back up footage and project files.
• Help prepare print-ready files and double-check specs (size, bleed, colour mode) before sending to vendors.
• Support the preparation of packaging artwork and keep track of revisions.
• Assist in following up with printing vendors and manufacturers on proofs, samples, and delivery timeline.

Video & Motion Support

Assist in editing short-form video content for social media (trimming, basic colour correction, sound sync)

Create simple motion graphics and logo animations for reels, stories, and promos using templates or references

Print & Packaging Support

Help prepare print-ready files and double-check specs (size, bleed, colour mode) before sending to vendors

Support the preparation of packaging artwork and keep track of revisions

Level of experience:

• 3–5+ years experience
• Ideally with experience in hospitality, F&B, lifestyle, events or creative agencies
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both static and motion work

Specific requirements:

• Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills — Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition and visual identity
• Able to create social-first content across for Instagram and digital advertising
• Motion graphics, animation and text animation
• Video editing for Reels and campaign content
• Able to adapt creative across multiple brands while maintaining individual brand identities
• Comfortable working from a creative direction/brief but also able to bring their own ideas
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly to deadlines
• Familiarity with Notion
• Hospitality/F&B experience is a strong plus
• Bali-based and available for occasional shoots/events would be preferred
