PT Epic Medical Solutions in Jakarta is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to support monitoring, observability, and deployment pipelines. You will work with Grafana, AWS, Terraform/OpenTofu, CI/CD, and containerized apps on Kubernetes/EKS.
Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of relevant experience, strong Linux command-line skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree preferred.
We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer with 1–3 years of relevant experience to support and maintain our system monitoring, observability, and alerting infrastructure. You should have strong technical fundamentals, be able to work independently on assigned tasks, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Build, maintain, and improve monitoring dashboards and system metrics using tools such as Grafana
Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application-related issues
Set up and maintain alerting for infrastructure and application health
Support and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS
Manage infrastructure configurations using Terraform or OpenTofu
Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for application deployments
Support deployments to EC2, Kubernetes/EKS, and web applications
Support the operation and maintenance of Kubernetes workloads
Write shell/bash scripts to automate routine operational and deployment tasks
Assist with networking configurations, including subnets, security groups, NAT, CIDR blocks, and ports
1–3 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, System Administration, or a related role
Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, including building dashboards and tracking system metrics
Comfortable working in Linux command-line environments
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of AWS or another cloud platform
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with Terraform or OpenTofu.
Practical understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
Experience with Kubernetes or Amazon EKS.
Basic understanding of networking concepts, including subnets, security groups, ports, and CIDR blocks.
Knowledge of shell/bash scripting.
Familiarity with blue-green deployment or other deployment strategies.
Understanding of cloud security concepts, including IAM, SSL/TLS, and access control
