Haskoning is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to accelerate AI adoption across our Supply Chain & Logistics advisory group. You will work at the intersection of data science, optimization, software development, and AI innovation to deliver practical solutions for clients and internal tools.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, prototype AI-enabled features, and contribute to projects that span planning, optimization, and warehouse analyses.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Understanding of data pipelines and data modelling concepts.
• Knowledge of LLM concepts such as prompting, embeddings, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions that create value for clients and internal teams.
• Develop AI-powered tools to improve efficiency and productivity; organize knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Contribute to client projects in supply chain and logistics planning, optimization, and cost-to-serve analyses.
• Perform data analyses and develop models in Python.
• Assist with validation and interpretation of results and explore AI enhancements.
