Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Facilities Engineer to oversee installation, operation and maintenance of MEP systems at our Batam data centre. You will coordinate 24/7 shift coverage, develop maintenance plans, and liaise with vendors to minimize downtime.

The role requires a degree in mechanical/electrical/building services engineering and at least 1 year in facilities or building services. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical / building services engineering or a related field.
• Fresh graduates welcomed; minimum 1 year Facilities/engineering/building services experience preferred.
• Experience with data centre mechanical infrastructure (HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, compressors).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, operation, and maintenance of all MEP systems within data centres.
• Coordinate with shift teams for 24/7 coverage and handovers.
• Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance with vendors and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and EH&S regulations; maintain documentation.
