Job summary

NTT DATA in Indonesia is seeking an Applications Managed Services Engineer (L1) to support clients' critical software applications, including ERP and middleware technologies. You will handle first-line incident management, monitor applications, respond to service requests, and perform approved maintenance such as patching and configuration changes.

Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in Windows Server, Linux Server, virtualization, server hardware and storage.
• Basic knowledge of ERP, Windows, Linux, SQL, Oracle Middleware and Webserver.
• Strong planning skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
• A client-focused mindset with the ability to understand and prioritize client needs.
• Effective cross-cultural communication and active listening.
• Positive attitude and flexibility to work longer hours when needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology/computing or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage client applications and respond to service requests.
• Resolve low-complexity incidents on the first line of support, escalating when needed.
• Perform approved maintenance such as patching and configuration changes.
• Create and update knowledge articles to improve service delivery.
• Contribute to work optimization, automation, and process improvement.
• Occasionally participate in project work and disaster recovery tests.
