Job summary

Timedoor, a Bali-based IT company, is seeking an Accounting assistant to join our finance team. You will support daily accounting tasks, handle data entry, and maintain financial records to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role involves assisting with AP and AR processes, month-end close preparation, and collaborating with other departments to resolve discrepancies. Diploma or degree in accounting and 1–2 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of proven experience in a basic accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support role.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and data entry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel (ability to use standard formulas).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and a strong willingness to learn and support team goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Accounting Manager with daily accounting tasks and administrative duties.
• Perform basic bookkeeping, including data entry of daily financial transactions into the accounting system.
• Organize and maintain financial records, invoices, receipts, and other important documentation.
• Support the processing of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) by preparing necessary documents and schedules.
• Help gather and compile data required for month-end closing and preliminary financial reports.
• Coordinate with other departments or vendors to collect financial data or resolve minor discrepancies on behalf of the Accounting Manager.
• Handle general office tasks for the finance department, such as filing, email correspondence, and schedule management.
