Job summary

Japfa is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to support the execution and supervision of animal health diagnostic lab activities in Jakarta. You will coordinate daily testing operations, ensure quality, biosafety, and timely diagnostic results for veterinary and animal health teams.

You will monitor workflows, uphold accreditation standards, manage equipment and inventory, maintain records, and guide technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in veterinary science, biology, or related field.
• Experience in diagnostic laboratories or biosafety practices preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to supervise a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily testing operations and ensure timely diagnostic results.
• Maintain biosafety and quality management compliance across lab activities.
• Supervise laboratory workflows to meet accuracy and turnaround time standards.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to laboratory technicians and staff.

Job description

Support the execution and supervision of animal health diagnostic laboratory activities. The role focuses on coordinating daily testing operations, ensuring quality and biosafety compliance, and supporting veterinary and animal health teams with timely and reliable diagnostic results. Support daily laboratory operations, including diagnostic testing, sample handling, and result reporting. Supervise laboratory workflows to ensure accuracy, quality, and turnaround time standards are met. Ensure compliance with biosafety, quality management, accreditation, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with Veterinary and Animal Health teams to support disease surveillance and outbreak investigations. Monitor laboratory performance metrics and address operational issues. Support maintenance of laboratory equipment, reagents, and inventory. Maintain laboratory documentation, records, and reports. Provide day-to-day guidance and supervision to laboratory technicians and staff.
