Qualifications

• Experience in bauxite mining is highly preferred.

• Develop and implement jetty and marine operational plans, budgets, and performance targets.
• Oversee cargo handling, stockpile coordination, loading preparation, and shipment documentation.
• Ensure loading activities meet quantity, quality, schedule, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate loading plans with mining ops, QC, surveyors, shipping partners, and stakeholders.
• Monitor productivity, equipment availability, cargo losses, and delays; drive improvements.

Job description

PT Daya Mineral Alam (DMA) is seeking an experienced and results driven Jetty Controller to lead, develop, and oversee the company's overall jetty and marine operations. This role is responsible for establishing operational plans, managing resources and budgets, ensuring efficient cargo handling and shipping execution, and maintaining compliance with applicable maritime regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing an effective jetty and marine operation that supports the company's production targets and long term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive jetty and marine operational plans, procedures, budgets, and performance targets aligned with the company's production and shipping requirements.

Oversee end-to-end operational activities, from stockpile and cargo readiness to jetty handling, barge loading, vessel coordination, and shipment completion.

Oversee jetty activities, including cargo handling, stockpile coordination, loading preparation, barge loading, and shipment documentation.

Ensure loading activities meet established quantity, quality, schedule, and operational safety requirements.

Coordinate loading plans and shipment schedules with mining operations, quality control, surveyors, shipping partners, and other relevant stakeholders.

Monitor loading productivity, equipment availability, cargo losses, and operational delays, implementing appropriate measures to minimize inefficiencies.

Lead marine operational planning and coordination, including barge and vessel scheduling, tugboat allocation, marine transportation, and shipment.

Prepare and manage operational budgets, cost estimates, and resource plans for jetty and marine activities.

Ensure all jetty and marine activities comply with applicable maritime regulations, port requirements, occupational health and safety standards, environmental requirements, and company policies.

Manage relationships with contractors, service providers, government authorities, and other external stakeholders relevant to jetty and marine operations.

Provide regular operational reports, performance evaluations, risk assessments, and improvement recommendations to management.

Requirements

Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in jetty, port, marine logistics, bulk cargo handling, or mineral shipping operations.

Proven leadership experience at Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, or Manager level, with responsibility for managing substantial operational activities and teams.

Experience in bauxite mining is highly preferred.

Willing to be based at the company's site in Ketapang, West Kalimantan, Indonesia.
