Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a Java Developer based in the Jakarta Metropolitan Area. The Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, ensuring code quality, performance, and reliability. Daily responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, troubleshooting and debugging applications, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as business analysts, QA, and project managers. The role also involves integrating applications with databases and external systems, preparing technical documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of development practices and system architectures.

What you'll be doing

• Analyze and translate business requirements into technical solutions using Java and related technologies
• Design, develop, and deploy Java-based applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and software engineering principles
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, and continuously improve the codebase

What we're looking for

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience as a Java Developer, with a strong understanding of Java programming language and Spring Boot framework
• Proficiency in designing and developing Java-based applications, including experience with web services, databases, and integration with other systems
• Proven experience in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, with a focus on best practices and software engineering principles
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and find innovative solutions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Willing to work in Jakarta (Working in Office)
