Job summary

VLink Inc in Jakarta is seeking a backend Java developer to design and implement server-side architecture on Unix/Linux for a used car sales platform. You will work with Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and related technologies to deliver scalable APIs and services.

Ideal candidates have experience in high concurrency, microservices, multi-threading, and SQL optimization, and will support production deployments, monitor systems, and perform testing and localization tasks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Spring MVC, Spring JDBC, Hibernate, Servlet, JPA.
• Expert in SQL using MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience in Java, API Development, Middleware Development, Cloud Computing, Troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain servers, databases and business logic for the used car sales platform.
• Design and implement APIs for frontend-backend communication.
• Familiar with open-source components such as Spring, Spring Boot, MyBatis, MySQL, Redis, Zookeeper.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive learning mindset.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop server-side architecture and applications under Unix/Linux using Java stack.
• Preferably experienced in high concurrency, microservices, multi-threading, and SQL optimization.
• Develop new software and tools per business requirements.
• Support and monitor production deployments.
• Improve deployed applications with changes as needed.
• Track and monitor system issues.
• Provide application support for business users and internal customers.
• Perform software tests.
• Handle system localization tasks.
