Job summary

NH KORINDO SEKURITAS INDONESIA seeks an experienced IT professional to manage and secure our server infrastructure in Jakarta. The role focuses on Windows Server, AD, Office 365, and virtualization in a 24x7 environment.

You will install, configure, monitor, and maintain physical and virtual servers, automate repetitive tasks with PowerShell, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 5 years hands-on Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and virtualization (VMware ESXi).
Experience managing hybrid identity environments (on-prem AD + Azure AD/Entra ID) and Office 365 administration.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for administrative automation.
Experience with backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Symantec Veritas Backup).
Ability to work in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, administer, and manage physical, VMware ESXi, and virtual servers.
Maintain server infrastructure to ensure stability, availability, and performance.
Administer and monitor virtual environments and guest hosts.
Perform server backup and recovery activities and monitor backup solutions.
Conduct routine server maintenance, health checks, and patching.
Harden servers according to security policies.
Administer Windows Server services including Active Directory and forest administration.
Manage hybrid identity with Entra ID/Azure AD; Office 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
Mailbox data recovery using retention policies or third-party backups.
Manage Office 365 licensing, security, and compliance settings.
Develop PowerShell scripts to automate AD and Office 365 tasks.
Collaborate with Infrastructure, Network, App, and Support teams; monitor performance and troubleshoot incidents.
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation and infrastructure projects.

Job description

Responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of physical and virtual server infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, security, and optimal system performance. Manage Microsoft Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Office 365 (Exchange Online), virtualization platforms, backup and recovery solutions, and provide operational support in a 24x7 environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform server installation, configuration, administration, and management for physical, VMware ESXi, and virtual servers.
Manage and maintain server infrastructure to ensure system stability, availability, and optimal performance.
Administer, configure, and monitor virtual environments and guest hosts utilizing virtualization platforms.

Backup & Recovery

Perform server backup and recovery activities, including executing backup procedures and restoring servers when required.
Administer and monitor backup solutions, including Symantec Veritas Backup and robotic tape library systems.

Maintenance & Patching

Conduct routine server maintenance, health checks, and performance monitoring for both physical and virtual environments.
Review, test, and implement server patching activities for physical and virtual servers.
Apply basic server hardening measures (e.g., disabling unnecessary services/ports, applying baseline security configurations) in accordance with organizational security policies.

Windows Server & Core Infrastructure Services

Administer and support Microsoft Windows Server services, including:
Active Directory (AD) and Forest Administration

Hybrid Identity & Office 365 / Exchange Online

Manage Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and Azure AD Connect for hybrid identity synchronization between on-premises AD and Office 365.
Administer and manage Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
Monitor Exchange Online performance and mailbox health to ensure messaging service availability.
Manage AD and Azure AD objects related to Office 365, including user accounts, mail-enabled users, contacts, and distribution/security groups.
Perform mailbox data recovery using Office 365 retention policies or third-party backup solutions.
Administer Office 365 licensing, security, and compliance settings.

Automation

Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate Active Directory and Office 365 administration tasks (e.g., user provisioning, mailbox/license management, reporting).
Work closely with Infrastructure, Network, Application, and Support teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to messaging services and server infrastructure.
Perform routine monitoring of system and application performance to proactively detect and resolve issues at an early stage.
Analyze and troubleshoot server, operating system, virtualization, backup, and messaging‑related incidents.

Projects & Documentation

Participate in infrastructure implementation, migration, upgrade, and enhancement projects.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system configurations.
Ensure compliance with operational standards, security policies, and best practices.
Take ownership of assigned infrastructure and system administration projects.
Participate in a 24x7 on‑call support rotation schedule with other team members to ensure continuous service availability.

Required Qualifications
