Job summary

INTIKOM is hiring for an IT System Analyst to support insurance projects. You will translate business needs into system requirements, analyze processes, and coordinate with users, stakeholders, and developers to ensure solutions meet business needs.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/IT and has at least 5 years of experience as a System Analyst in the insurance sector, with strong SQL, data mapping, ETL, and UML skills, plus excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/IT or related field.
• Minimum 5 years as a System Analyst.
• Experience in insurance industry.
• Experience in core systems for insurers or brokers.
• Strong business analysis and system documentation skills.
• Proficient in SQL queries.
• Understanding of data structures, mapping, ETL, and system integration is a plus.
• Experience creating UML diagrams and flowcharts.
• Ability to communicate with business and technical teams.

Scope of Work

• Conduct business needs analysis and translate them into system requirement documents (Business Requirement Documents and Functional Specifications).
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements through system development.
• Coordinate with users, stakeholders, developers, and relevant teams to ensure system solutions align with business needs.
• Create and maintain system documentation, process flows, use cases, and functional designs.
• Support the implementation, testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and go-live processes for applications.

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Analyst.
• Experience working in the insurance or insurance brokerage industry.
• Experience in the implementation, development, or enhancement of core systems for insurance companies or insurance brokerages.
• Strong business analysis and system documentation skills.
• Proficiency in database concepts and data processing, including the ability to write SQL queries.
• Understanding of data structures, data mapping, ETL, and system integration is an advantage.
• Experience creating UML diagrams, flowcharts, use case diagrams, activity diagrams, or other technical documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
