Job summary

Dekoruma is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage and maintain IT systems across our manufacturing facility. You will oversee servers, network devices, VPN, CCTV, and related security to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex issues, performing root cause analyses, and collaborating with Manufacturing, Warehouse, GA, HR, and Finance to deliver reliable IT solutions. On-site support and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
  • 2–3 years hands-on IT infrastructure experience.
  • Strong networking fundamentals: IP addressing, subnetting, routing, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and firewall.
  • Hands-on with Windows Server, Virtual Machine/VMware, VPN, SSL, SQL, Firewall.
  • Familiar with MikroTik, FortiGate, Cloud Controller, CCTV, switches, access points, and monitoring tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, independent RCA capability; proactive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, monitor, and maintain IT infrastructure across the facility.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues (Windows Server, VM, network, VPN, firewall, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, SQL).
  • Proactively monitor system performance, network availability, and security.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
  • Investigate and resolve new configurations and system behavior.
  • Configure and optimize network infrastructure (MikroTik, FortiGate, switches, APs, cloud controllers).
  • Support IT projects, upgrades, migrations.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Warehouse, GA, HR, Finance, and others.
  • Act as first point of contact for IT issues; communicate status to users.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for complex issues.
  • Develop and maintain IT documentation, network diagrams, SOPs.
  • Establish IT guidelines and security policies.
  • Conduct IT security awareness for employees.
  • On-site troubleshooting; after-hours maintenance when required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reliability, security, scalability, efficiency.

Job description

  1. Manage, monitor, and maintain IT infrastructure and systems across the manufacturing facility, including servers, network infrastructure, firewall, VPN, CCTV, and related IT systems.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues related to Windows Server, VM, network connectivity, VPN, firewall, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, SQL, and other critical IT systems.
  3. Proactively monitor system performance, network availability, server health, and security to ensure stable and reliable manufacturing operations.
  4. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring or complex technical issues and provide appropriate preventive and corrective solutions.
  5. Actively investigate and explore new technical issues, configurations, and system behavior to identify the most effective solutions.
  6. Configure, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure, including MikroTik, FortiGate, switches, access points, cloud controllers, and other network devices.
  7. Support IT infrastructure projects, system implementations, upgrades, migrations, and improvements required by the manufacturing business.
  8. Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Warehouse, GA, HR, Finance, and other business functions to understand operational requirements and provide appropriate IT solutions.
  9. Act as the first point of contact for IT infrastructure-related issues and communicate clearly with users regarding issue status, troubleshooting steps, and resolution.
  10. Coordinate with external vendors or technical partners for complex infrastructure issues, installations, maintenance, and system development.
  11. Develop and maintain IT documentation, network diagrams, configuration records, troubleshooting guides, SOPs, and knowledge bases.
  12. Establish and implement IT guidelines, security policies, and best practices to improve system security, data protection, and user awareness.
  13. Conduct IT security awareness and educate employees on proper use of IT systems, network access, and information security.
  14. Perform on-site troubleshooting and be available for occasional after-hours maintenance or emergency support when required to minimize disruption to manufacturing operations.
  15. Continuously identify opportunities to improve IT infrastructure reliability, security, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3. Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, subnetting, routing, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and firewall.
  • 4. Hands‑on experience with Windows Server, Virtual Machine/VMware, VPN, SSL, SQL, Firewall, and related infrastructure technologies.
  • 5. Familiar with MikroTik, FortiGate, Cloud Controller, CCTV, switches, access points, and network monitoring tools.
  • 6. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis independently.
  • 7. Curious and hands‑on mindset — willing to investigate, experiment, and dig deeper into technical issues rather than relying only on standard troubleshooting.
  • 8. Proactive, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • 9. Strong communication skills and able to communicate technical issues clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • 10. Willing to work on‑site at DMC/Manufacturing facility and support after‑hours maintenance when required.
  • 11. Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
