Job summary

PT Kode Evolusi Bangsa is seeking an experienced QA/Software Tester to perform manual testing across web and mobile platforms in the insurance sector. You will design robust test scenarios, execute tests, log and track defects, and collaborate with Analysts, Developers, and PMs to ensure quality releases.

The role requires 2–3 years of QA experience, a bachelor’s degree in IT/CS, and hands-on testing in insurance. Onsite in Jakarta for a 6-month contract with ASAP start.

• Execute manual testing across web and mobile applications to ensure system stability.
• Analyze complex insurance business flows, product requirements, and functional specifications.
• Design, write, and maintain detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Perform end-to-end, functional, integration, regression, and sanity testing.
• Log, track, prioritize, and manage software bugs using issue tracking systems.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Validate technical bug fixes and perform re-testing prior to production deployment.
• Assist business stakeholders and end-users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Prepare daily testing execution status reports and defect documentation.
• Participate in daily standups, project syncs, and sprint planning activities.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum 2-3 years experience as a Quality Assurance or Software Tester performing manual testing.

Hands-on project experience in the insurance sector is required.

Strong ability to quickly grasp complex business processes, system logic, and application flows.

Demonstrated skill in creating structured test scenarios, test cases, and bug reports.

Familiarity with project management and bug tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or Redmine.

Strong analytical, diagnostic, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

High attention to detail and ability to deliver quality results under tight deadlines.

Available for an immediate start (ASAP).

Willing to work full-time onsite in Jakarta on a 6-month contract
