Job summary

Imoto Technologies Indonesia is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to own daily IT operations and progressively grow into a DevOps role. You will be the main contact for IT support, manage devices and the office network, and participate in server, deployment, and monitoring tasks with guidance from the dev team.

The position offers a structured learning path toward DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, System Administration, or a related role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows and macOS environments.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and Wi-Fi.
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and access points; experience with MikroTik or Ubiquiti is preferred.
• Experience administering Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
• Basic knowledge of Linux command line, including SSH, file management, and reading system logs.
• Strong interest in learning DevOps and cloud technologies, demonstrated through self-learning, courses, certifications, or personal projects.
• Good communication skills and the ability to patiently assist non-technical users.
• Willingness to learn and gradually take on broader infrastructure and DevOps responsibilities.
• Basic knowledge of Docker, Git, or CI/CD.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Alibaba Cloud.
• Basic scripting experience with Bash or Python.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day IT operations, including IT support, devices, and office network infrastructure.
• Serve as the main point of contact for IT-related issues and provide technical support to employees.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues on Windows and macOS devices.
• Manage and maintain office network infrastructure, including routers, switches, access points, Wi‑Fi, and other network devices.
• Configure and troubleshoot network services such as IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN.
• Administer and maintain Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 accounts, users, and related services.
• Perform basic Linux system administration tasks, including using SSH, file management, and reviewing system logs.
• Assist in managing servers, deployments, and system monitoring with guidance from the development team.
• Gradually take on DevOps-related responsibilities, including deployment, infrastructure, monitoring, and cloud-related tasks.
• Collaborate with the development team to support application deployment and improve IT infrastructure reliability.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, system reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Follow a structured learning path to develop technical capabilities in DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
