Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an Automation Engineer to support and calibrate automated equipment, diagnose PLC hardware/software issues, and assist with IoT projects. The role also involves helping create digital dashboards and participating in installation and commissioning of new production lines.

Fresh graduates are welcome; a degree in Mechatronics, Electrical or Automation engineering is preferred, with basic programming skills in Python/SQL/JavaScript to support automation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Automation Engineering.
Fresher welcome; internship or project experience in digitalization or automation is a plus.
Understanding PLC programming is required.

Responsibilities

Perform routine checks and calibrations on automated equipment including sensors and pneumatics.
Assist in diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues in PLCs.
Support IoT projects, automation tools, and digital dashboards.
Assist in installation, wiring, and commissioning of new machinery or production lines.
Support digital kaizen, automation, and paperless initiatives.
