Job summary

PT HOGA Reksa Garment is seeking an IoT Developer to design, build, and optimize end-to-end connected systems for our manufacturing operations. The role blends edge hardware with server-side architecture, covering microcontroller programming, data acquisition, and robust backend processing.

You will develop ESP32 firmware, implement data pipelines, work on backend services and dashboards for real-time plant monitoring, and ensure reliable communication across MQTT, HTTP/REST, and SQL Server data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma IV in Informatics, CS, Industrial Automation, or related field.
• Hands-on ESP32 firmware development and sensor integration experience.
• Strong backend development and database management, especially SQL Server.
• Experience with MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, and socket communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across hardware and software.
• Willingness to work on-site in Garut, West Java.

Responsibilities

• Develop, program, and maintain ESP32 firmware to interface with industrial sensors.
• Create reliable data pipelines from edge devices to servers using Wi‑Fi, HTTP/REST, and MQTT.
• Design and maintain backend services and data ingestion pipelines for sensor data.
• Write and optimize SQL Server queries and stored procedures for performance.
• Monitor reliability, troubleshoot hardware-to-software bottlenecks, and implement edge failover.
• Collaborate on internal dashboards for real-time plant monitoring.

PT HOGA Reksa Garment is seeking a driven and technically versatile IoT Developer to design, build, and optimize end-to-end connected systems for our manufacturing operations. This role bridges edge hardware and server-side architecture—combining microcontroller programming, data acquisition, and robust backend data processing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, program, and maintain firmware on ESP32 microcontrollers to interface with various industrial and machine sensors.
• Implement reliable data communication pipelines from edge devices to servers using Wi-Fi, HTTP/REST methods, and MQTT protocols.
• Design and maintain backend services, APIs, and data ingestion pipelines to handle sensor data streams efficiently.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex queries and Stored Procedures in SQL Server for performance and scalability.
• Monitor system reliability, troubleshoot hardware-to-software communication bottlenecks, and implement edge failover mechanisms.
• Collaborate on internal web dashboard integrations for real-time plant monitoring and data reporting.

About you

• Bachelor's degree (S1) or Diploma IV (D4) in Informatics, Computer Science, Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience programming ESP32 microcontrollers, sensor integration, and edge networking.
• Solid background in backend development and database management, with strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (particularly query performance tuning and stored procedures).
• Demonstrated experience with network protocols: MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, and standard socket communication.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills across both hardware and software layers.
• Willingness to be placed on‑site in Garut, West Java.
