Job summary

Grab in Jakarta seeks an iOS Software Engineer to build features for the driver app across Southeast Asia. You will work with product, design, and backend teams, delivering AI-assisted workflows and offline-capable screens. The role is on-site in Jakarta, reporting to the Software Engineering Manager.

You will collaborate across mobile and backend teams to ensure high-quality, reliable experiences for driver partners and customers in the region.

Qualifications

• Up to 2 years of professional iOS development experience using Swift.
• Familiar with mobile architecture patterns (MVC/MVVM/VIPER).
• Solid understanding of data structures and OOP.
• Experience integrating iOS with RESTful APIs or backend services.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools and spec-driven workflows.
• Experience with unit testing or integration testing for iOS.

Responsibilities

• Develop iOS features using Swift for driver communication and AI-assisted workflows.
• Integrate iOS apps with backend APIs to deliver reliable experiences.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to understand requirements.
• Write testable code and participate in code reviews to maintain quality.
• Debug and improve app performance, reliability, and offline behavior.
• Contribute to app stability via unit/integration testing and validation.
