Job summary

TNT Capital, a Bali-based boutique financial advisory, seeks an Investment Associate to manage documentation from model outputs through sign-off and registration. You will own the process between the financial model and the final signed documents, coordinating advisers and ensuring no data discrepancies.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in related finance roles, strong Excel/Word/PowerPoint, and the ability to read a model and map outputs to documents.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in bank corporate or project finance, transaction services, corporate finance, or related transaction work
• You have assembled a transaction pack and ensured documents align
• You can read a financial model and tie outputs to a document
• Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint; written Bahasa Indonesia and English good enough for counterparts

Responsibilities

• Prepare investor memoranda, decks, term sheets and data room materials and reconcile figures across the pack
• Adapt legal templates to new transactions, coordinate advisers and complete data rooms for compliance
• Coordinate formation of new entities and keep corporate records in order
• Manage investor operations: NDA logs, KYC, subscription tracking, quarterly packs, capital calls and distributions
• Convert operating data from partners into monthly templates
• Own the master tracker and provide weekly status updates to the Managing Partner
• Attend Bali meetings and travel within Indonesia and Southeast Asia as needed

About TNT Capital

TNT Capital is a boutique financial advisory based in Bali. We work with a small number of partners on real asset, hospitality, waste to energy and carbon transactions across Indonesia and Southeast Asia. Our current work includes M&A in real estate (legal, tax and post-integration), a structuring and underwriting mandate for a real estate investment unit raising institutional capital, a waste to energy holding with live investments and an international carbon programme.

The team is small, the deals are real, and the standard is institutional.

The Role

Every transaction we run produces a set of documents: a financial model, an information memorandum, a term sheet, legal agreements, a data room, investor materials. Those documents must agree with each other, line by line, and stay in agreement as the numbers change. Then they must be signed, registered, filed and followed through until the deal is complete.

The Managing Partner decides the terms and writes the first drafts. Our Financial Analyst builds the models. You own everything in between and everything after: finished documents, checked for agreement, taken through signature and registration, tracked and chased until nothing falls through the cracks.

If you have ever been the person who noticed that the IRR in the memo did not match the model, or who chased a client PIC for two weeks to get the data and documents you needed, this role is for you.

What You Will Do

• Prepare investor memoranda, decks, term sheets and data room materials from model outputs and drafts, and reconcile every figure across the whole pack.
• Adapt our legal templates to each new transaction, take documents through signature, coordinate advisers, and complete data rooms for compliance.
• Coordinate the formation of new entities and keep the corporate records of each vehicle in order.
• Run investor operations: registers, NDA and Q&A logs, KYC collection, subscription tracking, quarterly reporting packs and, once a vehicle is live, capital call and distribution notices.
• Turn operating data from partners and sites into our standard monthly templates.
• Own the master tracker. Send the Managing Partner a Monday update every week without being asked: what is on the list, what moved, what is stuck, what needs a decision.
• Attend meetings in Bali that the Managing Partner cannot, and report back the same day. Occasional travel within Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

What We Are Looking For

• 2 to 4 years in bank corporate or project finance, transaction services at a professional services firm, corporate finance at a developer or infrastructure company, or transaction work at a law firm.
• You have personally assembled a transaction pack and been held accountable for the documents agreeing with each other.
• You have taken documents through signature and at least one notarial or registration process in Indonesia.
• You can read a financial model built by someone else and tie its outputs to a document. You do not need to build models.
• Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Written Bahasa Indonesia and English good enough to send to a counterparty without editing.
• You will tell a senior person that a number is wrong, and show why.
• On time, organised, persistent, and calm under multiple deadlines.

What This Role Is Not

The standard here is not that documents are stored; it is that they are correct, consistent, complete and filed correctly.
