Job summary

PT Mitra Bali Sukses (Mie Gacoan) is seeking an Inventory Auditor based in Pekanbaru to conduct regular stock counts, audits, and spot checks across branches. You will analyze variances, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings to management and finance teams.

The role requires 1–2 years of related inventory or accounting experience, a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with ERP/inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct variance analysis by comparing physical stock with system records and investigate root causes.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to Management and the Tax, Accounting & Finance team.
• Evaluate internal controls and warehouse procedures to ensure SOP compliance.
• Recommend corrective actions to reduce shrinkage and improve inventory control processes.

Job description

Inventory Audit Execution: Perform regular physical stock counts, inventory audits, and spot checks at designated branch/warehouse locations (Penempatan: Pekanbaru).

Variance Analysis: Compare physical inventory results against system records, identify stock discrepancies, and investigate root causes of losses or damaged goods.

Audit Reporting: Prepare detailed inventory audit reports, highlight key variances, and present findings to Management and the Tax, Accounting, & Finance team.

Internal Control Evaluation: Evaluate warehouse operations and inventory movement procedures to ensure compliance with company SOPs and internal controls.

Process Improvement: Recommend corrective actions and improvements to mitigate stock shrinkage, improve accuracy, and streamline inventory control processes.

Job Requirements:

Education: Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of working experience as an Inventory Auditor, Internal Audit Staff, Stock Take Controller, or in a similar inventory/accounting role.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in inventory accounting principles, audit procedures, and ERP/Inventory software.

High level of integrity, detail orientation, and analytical thinking.

Willingness to perform hands‑on field stock checks and travel across operational sites if needed.

Good communication skills for coordinating with warehouse teams and finance management.

Location: Based / Willing to be placed in Pekanbaru.
