Job summary

PT Bias Tekno Art in Jakarta, Indonesia is seeking an experienced Interior Drafter to translate design concepts into precise technical drawings for construction.

You will prepare Layout Plans, Furniture Layouts, Floor and Ceiling Plans, Elevations and Details, and ensure field-usable accuracy while updating drawings through project revisions. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, with SketchUp and Revit valued, and a 1–5 year track record in interior drafting to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• D3/S1 in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 1–5 years experience as Interior Drafter.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (required).
• Understanding of interior working drawing standards and construction details.

Responsibilities

• Create working drawings based on direction from Interior Designer or Senior Interior Designer.
• Develop concept drawings into technical drawings ready for construction.
• Prepare Layout Plan, Furniture Layout, Floor Pattern Plan, Ceiling Plan, Lighting Plan, Elevation, Section, Detail Joinery, Detail Furniture Custom, and Detail Finishing.
• Create interior construction details according to company standards.
• Coordinate with Interior Designer regarding design changes.
• Update drawings according to review results and revisions.
• Support project team needs for tender and implementation drawings.
• Conduct site measurements and surveys as needed.
• Verify field dimensions before finalizing drawings.

Job description

Create and develop accurate, detailed technical interior working drawings in accordance with design concepts for use as a reference for project implementation in the field.

Key responsibilities

Create working drawings based on direction from Interior Designer or Senior Interior Designer

Develop concept drawings into technical drawings ready for construction

Prepare Layout Plan, Furniture Layout, Floor Pattern Plan, Ceiling Plan, Lighting Plan, Elevation, Section, Detail Joinery, Detail Furniture Custom, and Detail Finishing

Create interior construction details according to company standards

Determine connection details, materials, and finishing based on designer direction

Ensure all details can be applied in the field

Coordinate with Interior Designer regarding design changes

Update drawings according to review results and revisions

Support project team needs for tender and implementation drawings

Conduct site measurements and surveys as needed

Verify field dimensions before finalizing drawings

Revise drawings based on actual field conditions

Maintain file organization and drawing naming standards

Manage drawing revisions and project document versions

About you

D3/S1 in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field

1–5 years experience as Interior Drafter

Proficient in AutoCAD (required)

Proficient in SketchUp

Proficient in Revit (valued)

Proficient in Adobe Photoshop

Understanding of interior working drawing standards and construction details

Detail-oriented and able to work to deadlines

The company based in Jakarta, Indonesia, currently employs 50 people comprising professional architects, draftspersons, administration and field supervision staff.

PT. Bias Tekno office produces drawings using the latest drafting technology. The office is well equipped for the production of documentation using a range of design and drafting software and techniques tailored to suit particular projects.

The constancy services offered by the company include design and documentation of:

Over the years Bias Tekno has worked with and developed links with several local and international consulting offices in order to utilize their specialized skills for specific projects and also to maintain an international standard in our work.

These include Quantity Surveyors, consultants in Mechanical & Electrical engineering, Structural engineering, Site engineering, Landscape, Traffic, Lighting, Marketing, Retail and others, depending upon the requirement of the project.

We have available to us this international team of consultants which can assist any client from the conception of the project to it’s final documentation. As a company we have also worked as part of in-house teams with developers from the determination of the final terms of reference, tender documentation, choice of contractor, to the final completion of the project.

The office also has a department for interior design which has been involved in numerous projects as consultants as well as design-build contractors.
