Job summary

OSI Electronics is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to uphold strict quality standards across the production cycle in Batam, Indonesia. You will read blueprints, sample and test materials, and maintain detailed quality records to ensure product conformity and process integrity.

The role requires basic QA experience, strong attention to detail, and teamwork. Fresh graduates are welcome; salary is commensurate with experience and local market norms.

Qualifications

• Min. Senior High School or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in quality inspection; fresh graduates welcome.
• Identify and record non-conformances detected.
• Assist in failed unit analysis and testing.
• Proven experience as QA Inspector; able to use precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend quality expectations for the product and supplies.
• Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.
• Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications).
• Use automated systems to perform complex testing procedures.
• Maintain records of testing, information, and various metrics (e.g., number of defective products per day).
• Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure efficiency and safety compliance.
• Monitor use of equipment to ensure safety and maintenance; discard nonconforming items.
• Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
• Demonstrate behavior consistent with Code of Ethics and Conduct.
• Report quality problems to management for corrective action and recurrence avoidance.

Qualifications

• To be able to assist in performing failed units Failure Analysis, ref: In house units failed testing
• Proven experience as QA – Inspector.Can use smart scope measurement, LCR, DMM, Caliper
