Job summary

Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk is seeking an experienced Innovation Manager to identify new opportunities, build partnerships, and lead initiatives from concept through implementation within our dynamic banking ecosystem.

You will own the innovation portfolio, develop business cases, run pilot projects, and collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Technology teams to deliver tangible outcomes and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Approximately 7+ years of experience in banking, fintech, management consulting, digital products, strategy, partnerships, or innovation-related roles.
• Proven experience in end-to-end ownership of initiatives, from opportunity sourcing and business case development through pilot execution or implementation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions.
• Solid commercial judgment and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
• Exposure to areas such as: Payments, Lending, Embedded Finance, Digital Banking, Ecosystem Partnerships, Regulatory Coordination
• Demonstrated track record as a hands-on builder and executor, with experience turning ideas into tangible business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop new innovation and partnership opportunities across the banking and financial services ecosystem.
• Build robust business cases and prioritize initiatives based on strategic alignment, commercial potential, feasibility, and risk considerations.
• Lead and execute pilot projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Business, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Technology teams.
• Assess pilot outcomes and provide recommendations on whether initiatives should be scaled, refined, or discontinued.
• Establish portfolio governance processes, define milestones, clarify ownership, and provide management reporting to key stakeholders.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with fintech companies, ecosystem partners, MUFG entities, and internal stakeholders across the organization.

About the Role

As an Innovation Manager, you will own and manage the innovation portfolio, driving initiatives from opportunity identification and business case development through pilot execution and handover to the relevant business units. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and hands‑on execution.
