Job summary

Michelin Indonesia is seeking an Industrial Engineer to drive productivity and operational efficiency using Lean methods. You will identify improvement opportunities across People, Profit, and Planet, and empower teams to sustain change in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English. Willingness to be based at multiple sites in Indonesia is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mathematics.
• Fresh graduates welcome; internship or professional experience encouraged.
• Strong analytical and quantitative thinking with solid math and logic.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence constructively.
• Learning agility and adaptability in dynamic environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and passion for continuous improvement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken, minimum B2).
• Willing to be based in Cikarang, West Java / Cilegon, Banten / Site Tebo, Jambi / Site Bengalon, Kalimantan Timur.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics.

• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, or Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Experience through internships, academic projects, or organizational activities involving process improvement or data analysis.
• Familiarity with Power BI, statistical analysis, or other digital improvement tools.
