Job summary

Digital Solusi Prima is seeking an Industrial Designer in Indonesia to drive product development from concept sketching through prototyping to mass production. You will work with engineers, toolmakers, and workshops to translate ideas into manufacturable designs, developing 3D models and detailed drawings for production use.

• Strong understanding of materials, product construction, manufacturing processes, and prototyping.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, toolmakers and workshops to bring designs into production.
• Ability to develop 3D models, technical drawings, dimensions, and specifications for manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Job description

• Bachelor’s degree (S1/D4) in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Industrial Designer, particularly in product development for industrial and manufacturing applications.
• Experienced in taking products from concept and sketching through prototyping to mass production or low-volume manufacturing.
• Proficient in Autodesk Alias or ICEM Surf (Class-A Surfacing), Rhino, SolidWorks or CATIA, and KeyShot or Blender.
• Experience in automotive, metalworks, or related manufacturing industries.
• Strong understanding of materials, product construction, manufacturing processes, and prototyping.
• Experienced in collaborating with engineers, toolmakers, and workshops to bring designs into physical production.
• Able to develop 3D models, technical drawings, dimensions, and specifications for manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Must submit a portfolio showcasing industrial design projects, preferably demonstrating the process from concept to production.
