Job summary

Grab Procurement leads fast-cycle sourcing and complex local procurement, serving as the link between local teams and central procurement. You will guide negotiations, shape category strategy for Indonesia, and partner with Buy Desk to onboard and manage procurement processes.

The role requires 10+ years in procurement in Indonesia, strong stakeholder abilities, and daily use of AI/data tools for benchmarking and drafting outputs, enabling fact-based recommendations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Procurement experience in Indonesia.
• Skilled in demand shaping, sourcing plans, and negotiating commercial terms.
• Proven results improving sourcing speed, catalogue coverage, or buying discipline.
• Procurement experience in Indonesia, with strong knowledge of its suppliers and business needs.
• Trusted partner to senior business and Finance leaders; coaching junior colleagues.
• Daily use of AI or data tools for benchmarking, scenario modelling, and drafting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Indonesian business and Finance leaders to clarify needs and constraints.
• Lead fast-cycle, low-materiality sourcing and hand awards to Buy Desk.
• Own local execution and shape negotiations with Category Manager.
• Surface Indonesian requirements early and provide decision-ready recommendations.
• Turn repeat purchases into catalogues, rate cards, or standing agreements.
