Job summary

Grab Indonesia is seeking an experienced Communications Manager to lead the development and execution of strategic communications programs, focusing on corporate reputation and financial services. The role will translate complex topics into clear narratives and manage at least two workstreams while partnering with senior leaders to identify opportunities and mitigate reputational risks.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, corporate affairs, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in corporate reputation, strategic and executive communications, media relations, issues management, and crisis communications.
• Proven ability to communicate complex business, financial, technology, sustainability, regulatory, and policy topics clearly.
• Strong understanding of Indonesia's media, business, financial services, technology, and public policy landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated communications strategies that strengthen Grab Indonesia's reputation and support corporate and financial services objectives.
• Create compelling narratives around business performance, innovation, partnerships, economic impact, financial inclusion, payments, lending, and the broader financial services ecosystem.
• Translate complex business, financial, technology, risk, policy, and regulatory topics into clear and credible communications.
• Advise senior leaders and business teams on messaging, reputation, media relevance, and communications opportunities or risks.
• Collaborate with business, product, marketing, legal, compliance, risk, public affairs, and regional teams to ensure accurate and consistent messaging.
• Develop communications plans and materials for announcements, product launches, partnerships, milestones, research, executive engagements, and corporate initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with business, financial, technology, policy, and mainstream media, while securing interviews, speaking opportunities, and thought leadership platforms.
• Lead media engagements, executive briefings, press events, stakeholder forums, media inquiries, and spokesperson preparation.
• Monitor emerging issues and lead communications responses to reputational risks, misinformation, incidents, and crises.
• Manage agencies, third‑party advocates, performance measurement, reporting, stakeholder relationships, and regular communications planning.
