Job summary

JAPFA is a leading agribusiness company with operations in Indonesia, specializing in animal feed and related products. The role focuses on in-process quality control, inspections from grinding to bagging, and maintaining daily quality reports while supporting internal audits.

The candidate will ensure adherence to approved formulations, monitor control systems, and implement HSE and 5S practices on the Lamongan, East Java site. Strong QA knowledge and ERP experience are desired.

Qualifications

Minimal Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Food Technology, Fisheries, Animal Science, Biology, Chemistry, Agricultural Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Production Quality, or Laboratory functions within the manufacturing, feed, food, or related industries.
Good understanding of production processes, in-process quality control, quality testing methods, and product quality standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, committed to HSE and 5S practices, and willing to be placed in Lamongan, East Java.

Responsibilities

Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with approved formulations and perform random checks on the control systems.
Conduct in-process quality inspections from grinding to bagging-off stages and determine the production status (Approved, Quarantine, or Rejected).
Prepare and maintain daily reports on in-process quality, bagging activities, and corrective actions during operations.
Report quality testing results, follow up on quarantined products, and support internal audits related to production processes.
Maintain equipment and the work environment while implementing HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives within the QC In-Process function.
