Job summary

Siegwerk in Tangerang, Indonesia, is seeking a Jr. Inhouse Technician to support blending production, ensure safety and proper equipment use, and assist with handling materials.

You will monitor equipment, diagnose issues, blend ink and master batches, conduct on-site quality control, and relay information to the supervisor. Qualifications include a related university degree, ink industry experience, good English and computer skills, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• University degree in Printing, Chemistry or related science.
• Experience in ink industries or similar positions.
• Good communication skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Proficiency in English and computing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable execution of sub-processes in blending production according to guidelines and instructions from supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with work safety regulations in the general work environment.
• Ensure proper handling of equipment according to instructions for use.
• Ensure safe and efficient temporary storage of materials and containers.
• Complete multi-step tasks in value-adding processes according to guidelines and instructions.
• Conduct processing, master batches, finished products and/or containers, manually or using automated systems.
• Monitor equipment in use and advise diagnosis and adjustments in event of a malfunction.
• Blend ink and master batches to create customer-ready products and deliver at customer press.
• Conduct onsite quality control analysis.
• Support supervisor by relaying relevant process information.
• May coordinate In-House Operator
