Job summary

PT Bimura Putra Persada in Surabaya is seeking an Import Order Processor to own orders from client to delivery, including PO creation, tracking, consolidation, and customs decisions. You will manage 50+ live order lines, coordinate overseas suppliers, and ensure DDP/DAP terms via ARIBA punch-out and Accurate records.

This fixed-term role emphasizes independence, English communication with vendors, and familiarity with Indonesian customs.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3/S1 in Business Admin, Export-Import, Logistics or Accounting.
• 1–2 years' experience in import operations, order processing or freight forwarding.
• Working knowledge of Indonesian customs: HS classification, LARTAS, and permits.
• Genuinely comfortable owning classification decisions and defending them.
• Excel proficiency; ERP experience with Ariba and Accurate.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process client orders; raise POs to overseas suppliers.
• Track every order line through its full journey, including partial shipments.
• Plan consolidation at overseas warehouse and book inbound freight (sea preferred).
• Prepare full import document set for customs clearance.
• Own HS code, goods description, and valuation decisions (brokers execute).
• Release and arrange delivery to the client after SPPB is issued.
• Handle ARIBA punch-out order flow end-to-end (requisition to invoicing).
• Input & reconcile related transactions in ACCURATE.
• Business correspondence with vendors/suppliers/forwarders in English.

Import Order Processor – Procurement & Import Processing

This is a 6-month fixed-term (PKWT) role, with potential extension or conversion to permanent based on business needs. We process orders and import for clients into Indonesia — sea freight for volume, air freight when it's urgent. This role owns an order from the moment the client sends it until the goods are signed for at their door. That means you're the purchaser, the tracker, the consolidation planner, and the customs decision-maker for your own orders. Most volume flows through SAP Ariba (punch-out orders, DDP/DAP terms), with transactions also recorded in Accurate. If you already know how an Ariba punch-out becomes a PO becomes an invoice, say so early in your application.

What You'll Do:

• Receive and process client orders; raise POs to overseas suppliers
• Track every order line through its full journey, including partial shipments and quantities
• Plan consolidation at overseas warehouse & book inbound freight (~95% sea, remainder air for urgent orders)
• Prepare full import document set for customs clearance
• Own HS code, goods description, and valuation decisions (from internal product database); broker executes your decision
• Release and arrange delivery to the client once SPPB is issued
• Handle ARIBA punch-out order flow end to end, from requisition through invoicing (DDP/DAP)
• Input & reconcile related transactions in ACCURATE
• Business correspondence with vendors/suppliers/forwarders in English

What We're Looking For:

• Min. D3/S1 in Business Admin, Export-Import, Logistics, or Accounting
• 1–2 years' experience in import operations, order processing, or freight forwarding (Indonesia inbound)
• Working knowledge of Indonesian customs: HS classification, LARTAS, and common import permits
• Genuinely comfortable owning classification decision and defending them
• Can hold 50+ live order lines in a system and know exactly where each stands
• English sufficient for daily supplier and forwarder correspondence
• Mandarin (passive) and Industrial Engineering graduates are a plus
• Excel to a real standard; ERP experience (Ariba and/or Accurate)
• Willing to sign a 6-month fixed-term (PKWT) contract
