Job summary

Heart Troops, a Jakarta-based modest fashion brand, seeks a creative Illustrator to join the Creative Product Development team. You will develop original artworks, motifs, and visual assets aligned with the brand aesthetic and collection direction.

You will research trends, create concepts via moodboards, and prepare production-ready files, while collaborating closely with fashion designers and related teams. This role is based in a fast-growing SME environment in Jakarta.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Visual Communication Design, Fashion Design, or related fields.
• Strong sense of composition, color, visual storytelling, and aesthetic awareness.
• Able to translate concepts and inspirations into commercially relevant visual designs.

Responsibilities

• Research motifs, patterns, color palettes, and visual aesthetics from markets/trends.
• Create concepts via moodboards, references, storytelling, and visual exploration.
• Create original illustrations, motifs, prints, and supporting artworks aligned with brand identity.
• Collaborate with designers to develop collection concepts and assets.
• Prepare production-ready illustration files and coordinate color accuracy.
• Support development needs across categories and campaigns.

Heart Troops is a growing modest fashion brand dedicated to creating thoughtfully crafted pieces based in Jakarta.

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Illustrator to join our Creative Product Development team. This role focuses on developing original artworks, motifs, and visual assets for our fashion products that align with the brand’s aesthetic and product direction.

Responsibilities

Conduct market and trend research related to motifs, patterns, color palettes, and visual aesthetics.

Develop creative concepts through moodboards, references, storytelling, and visual exploration.

Create original illustrations, motifs, prints, and supporting artworks aligned with the brand identity and collection direction.

Collaborate closely with fashion designers and related teams in developing collection concepts and visual assets.

Prepare illustration files for production and help coordinate ensure design and color accuracy.

Support creative product development needs across categories and campaigns when needed.

Organize and maintain digital archives of artworks, motifs, and creative assets.

Continuously explore new creative ideas, illustration styles, and visual approaches relevant to the brand.

Qualifications

Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Visual Communication Design, Fashion Design, or related fields.

Prior experience in similar position in fashion, textile, or creative industries is a plus.

Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate and other relevant design tools.

Strong sense of composition, color, visual storytelling, and aesthetic awareness.

Able to translate concepts and inspirations into commercially relevant visual designs.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple creative tasks simultaneously.
