Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Fluent in English to deliver lessons and communicate effectively.
• Expertise in your subject area and inquiry-based pedagogy.
• Ability to deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons.
• Knowledge of IB PYP framework and pedagogy.
• Experience with differentiated instruction to meet diverse needs.
• Proficiency with SeeSaw for documentation and assessment.
• Collaborative approach with grade-level teams and subject teachers.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and IB leadership.
• Ability to create a stimulating, visually appealing classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in your subject and deliver inquiry-based lessons.
• Integrate ATL skills into all lessons, encouraging critical thinking.
• Promote and model IB Learner Profile attributes and SVP Champion values.
• Apply differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Use SeeSaw as a platform to document, assess, and communicate student learning.
• Employ varied assessment strategies that reflect student learning and provide feedback.
• Work collaboratively with the PYP Coordinator, grade-level teams, and other subject teachers to align learning experiences with PYP themes.
• Participate in collaborative planning and reflection meetings, including level weekly planning and committee discussions.
• Provide pastoral support by responding to students' needs.
• Communicate promptly and professionally with parents regarding student progress.
