I CAN READ Indonesia is seeking a dedicated English language and literacy teacher for a full-time, on-site position in Kota Tangerang Selatan. You will deliver lessons, follow the I CAN READ curriculum, and support students across age ranges with engaging activities and clear guidance.

You will plan lessons, monitor progress, provide feedback to learners and caregivers, and maintain accurate records. Weekend hours may be required to meet program needs.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching children or young learners in English or literacy.
• Ability in lesson planning and training, including preparing structured lessons and supporting learner development.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging students and maintaining clear, professional interaction with caregivers and colleagues.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; knowledge of Indonesian is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Kota Tangerang Selatan and adhere to scheduled teaching hours, including weekends if required.
• Prior experience with literacy programs or early childhood education is a plus.

Role Description

The I Can Read Teacher is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kota Tangerang Selatan. The teacher is responsible for delivering English language and literacy lessons to children and adolescents, following the I CAN READ curriculum and teaching methodologies. Daily tasks include preparing lesson plans, conducting interactive classroom sessions, monitoring student progress, and providing constructive feedback to learners and caregivers. The teacher will also manage classroom behavior, maintain accurate records, participate in training sessions, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure a positive, safe, and motivating learning environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Teaching and Education skills, with experience instructing children or young learners in English or literacy.
• Ability in Lesson Planning and Training, including preparing structured lessons and supporting learner development.
