Job summary

GE Vernova Grid Solutions is seeking an HVDC Primary & Valve Installation Supervisor for on-site work on large-scale HVDC projects. The role focuses on supervising HVDC valve and primary equipment installation by subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and documentation are maintained.

The ideal candidate has a technical engineering degree with at least 3 years of site supervision experience in HVDC or related substations, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Formal engineering degree with hands-on experience in electrical- or mechanical-installation works on large-scale projects.
• Minimum 3 years of site supervision or similar role in HVDC/substation environments.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to report clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise HVDC valve and primary equipment installations by subcontractors, ensuring compliance with ITPs and drawings.
• Coordinate with Site Management and stakeholders to ensure on-time, quality execution.
• Review installation documentation, test reports, and ensure proper tool/equipment maintenance.
