Job summary
A leading manufacturing company in Indonesia seeks an HR Manager to oversee talent pipelines, manage employee relations, and ensure compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in HR or related fields, 5–10 years of experience, and preferably experience in manufacturing environments. You will lead the HR team and improve employee services while maintaining a productive workforce.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of HR experience, including 2–3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in manufacturing or labor-intensive industries preferred.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian labor laws.

Responsibilities
- Build talent pipelines to support high-volume and seasonal hiring demands.
- Build and maintain effective employee relations to ensure a stable and productive workforce.
- Address and resolve employee grievances, disciplinary issues, and conflict resolution.
- Liaise with labor unions (if applicable) and lead collective bargaining agreements.
- Ensure fair treatment and communication between employees and management.
- Ensure full compliance with Indonesian labor laws, company policies
- Develop and implement performance appraisal systems for all employee levels.
- Monitor productivity KPIs and implement improvement strategies with line managers.
- Develop and manage competitive compensation structures.
- Oversee payroll operations in coordination with Finance/Payroll team.
- Manage employee benefits programs (BPJS, allowances, bonuses, etc.).
- Supervise and develop the HR team to ensure efficient service delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of HR experience, including at least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience in manufacturing, plant-based operations, or labor-intensive industries is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in handling employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and industrial relations.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations (e.g., Indonesian Labor Law, BPJS, health & safety).
- Familiarity with HR best practices in a unionized or high-volume manufacturing setting.
