We are one of Jakarta’s leading restaurant group with continued expansion - we are building a People & Culture team that will support our growth and strengthen the heart of our business: our people. To lead this transformation, we are looking for a strategic, experienced, and people-centered HR Director.

Role Overview

The HR Director will drive our people strategy, build strong culture across all brands, and elevate the employee experience from hiring to growth. You will oversee recruitment, training, development, people experience, HR operations, and performance management.

You will also design a Best-in-Class Induction Programme to ensure every new employee — from FOH to BOH to office — feels welcomed, valued, and embedded in our culture from Day 1.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the People & Culture foundation for a fast-expanding F&B group.

Key Responsibilities
  • 1. Strategic Leadership
    • Build and execute the People & Culture roadmap
    • Forecast manpower needs for expansion
  • 2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
    • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes
    • Build talent pipelines for FOH/BOH and office roles
    • Strengthen employer branding and recruitment channels
  • 3. Induction & Onboarding
    • Design a structured, welcoming induction programme
    • Ensure all new staff understand:
      • Company culture & values
      • Brand identity
      • Expectations & career pathways
      • Basic SOPs and service standards
    • Work with Operations & L&D to create consistent onboarding for all stores
  • 4. Culture & People Experience
    • Roll out culture-building initiatives
    • Strengthen sense of belonging & employee engagement
    • Lead internal communication, recognition programs, and staff events
    • Create competency frameworks for every department
    • Build training roadmaps (FOH, BOH, office, warehouse)
    • Develop leadership programs for supervisors and managers
  • 5. Performance Management
    • Design and implement a fair & transparent evaluation system
    • Introduce goal-setting, KPI tracking, quarterly reviews
    • Identify high performers and future leaders
    • Manage improvement plans & respectful off-boarding when needed
  • 6. HR Operations & Compliance
    • Ensure payroll, attendance, and HR systems run effectively
    • Improve HR SOPs and documentation
    • Maintain compliance with Indonesian labour laws
  • 7. Cross-Department Partnerships
    • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Marketing & Brand Depts
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum 8–12 years HR experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
    • Proven experience in hospitality/F&B/retail environments is a strong advantage
    • Track record in scaling HR operations for growing organisations
    • Experience setting up training, performance, or culture programs
