Job summary

Kanana Village seeks a Room Attendant to maintain guest rooms and common areas to high cleanliness and hygiene standards. You will clean and organize rooms according to SOP, ensure sanitation areas are disinfected, and manage linen distribution.

The role also covers stocking supplies, reporting any facility damage to Engineering, recording lost and found items, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and deep cleaning bathrooms.

Responsibilities

• Clean, organize, and maintain all rooms and areas according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
• Ensure sanitation areas (toilets, showers, sinks) are disinfected, dry, and free from odours
• Collect, sort, send to laundry, and redistribute linens, towels, and other fabrics
• Ensure stock of supplies (toiletries, soap, tissue paper, drinking water, cleaning equipment) is maintained and restocked
• Identify and report facility damage (leaking AC, broken lights, faulty taps) to Engineering/Maintenance team
• Record and document guest lost and found items for handover to reception/supervisor
• Make beds and change sheets and linens regularly
• Dust, sweep, vacuum, and mop guest room floors
• Perform deep cleaning of bathrooms (shower, toilet, glass)
